Monthly Post Archive - October 2026

The spooky month has come and gone and with it came eleven whole Chillin posts! Well, only two unique posts, but it's eleven overall!

---

As I said last month, I planned to release some stuff this month, and here's the main thing: The Mystery Collection. Admittedly, I sort of said everything I wanted to say about this release in the blogpost that released alongside this album. If you want an in-depth dive into each song, I put as much as I could muster in the blogpost. One thing, though, that I wish I'd mentioned as the days passed since the release was that I actually have other examples of "Mysteriously Mysterious Mystery" showing up in popular media. I've heard it the Thor: Ragnarok, I've heard it in Dexter: Original Sin, and, passing by a TV playing The Diplomat, I heard it too.

To explain away the "eleven whole Chillin posts" stuff from the introduction, I should probably explain that, unlike my usual MO, wherein I post to Tumblr and Bluesky exclusively, for this release, I posted to Tumblr, Bluesky, Twitter, and YouTube.

Happy Halloween! I've released more music to round off the month. I've also written another blogpost on my website to coincide with the aforementioned music releases. Check it out! Listen to the music: www.youtube.com/@ChillinOST Read the blogpost: chillincreative.cc/cave/blog/20...

I posted this to the four aforementioned social media platforms as well. And like the previous post from this month, I also have a more detailed blogpost diving into each of the singles released that day. Though the one thing I wish I'd mentioned were some of the other SiIvaGunner rips I loved from the April Fools event this year, so I'll list them here: "Better Kill Saul - Breaking Dust: Murderous Elements", "Ruby Exceptions ~ NULL Boss - ERROR!Sonic Mania", "Temporal Intervention (Stardust Speedway Zone 4) - Sonic CD: Last Breath", and "Ringtone - Horror!Impractical Jokers Wheel of Death".

(It's weird that what I wanted to append to each blogpost were all just external media.)

Anyway, it's now November, which means I have to take down all of my mummy drawings and return to my true, classic form: a loser. (I recognize that I broke tradition this year not drawing a full-size drawing of myself as a mummy, but when I drew the profile picture, I was already conceding that I wasn't going to do it. I didn't think it would top the profile picture. I'm not even sure if I'll top it next year.)

Hope everyone's spooky month was spooky, and I hope November kicks ass for you, (TomSka voice) and I'll see you last month.
