I don't know what it was or why, but I decided that November was gonna be a month of posting. This can be verified by the fact that there's exactly one more entry this month compared to last.
(Ignore the fact that this year, there's just 8 entries in the post archive when last year, there were 17 entries.)
the homestuck pilot be like "i hope i don't crash this plane so i can go draw karkat later"

I'm not even a Homestuck. I've never read any Homestuck, and I've not even watched the Homestuck pilot in question.
Too, with this post, there's the extra hilarious part of it (to me) that posits that any pilot's sole thought while flying would be "I hope I don't crash this plane because I got shit to do after this". Like, I assume that's maybe in the top five thoughts, but I don't assume it's the leading one. Then again, as much as I'm not a Homestuck, I'm also not a pilot, so who's to say.
I think I just assumed that anyone reading the post would already know what a fujoshi is. I'd say "maybe it's because I know a fujoshi", but this post started off as as spoken joke I made to a local friend. I dunno; maybe he just knows a fujoshi too.
It seems like I make some kind of dumb joke regarding American politics following the results of an election every November. Nevertheless, this one is just a bit meh. This one didn't even pop off on Bluesky, so, like, what was the point?
I do think my mob vote one is the funniest of the three American-election-related posts I've made.
Last year, I put out a Devlog for November 11th, and so I did the same this year. If you haven't read it, you can read it through this Tumblr post, or go read it here on the website.
For context, my Subway order is: Italian bread, rotisserie-style chicken — toasted, and garlic aioli. No cheeses, no vegetables, no nothing. Just bread, meat, and sauce.
So, to ask again, should I feel bad about my Subway order?
(Richard Nixon voice) "I'm not a crook. I'm not a gnoblin. I'm a gnome. And you've been... gnomed."

I don't think many other people still think about the "You've Been Gnomed" video. It was the Rick-roll of the turn-of-the-decade "You Laugh, You Lose" Twitch Media Share streams. So much so that a less-than-a-second version of it was created to "gnome" streamers as efficiently as possible. You just kinda had to be there since, like, half of the streamers I can think of that got gnomed, have since been revealed as bad actors, so it's not like you can go back and check those streams out in the same way.
Can you tell this was written through rage-fueled fingertips, exhausted having to deal with Adobe Audition not responding and interrupting her workflow — a workflow that would go much more smoothly and easier in, say, free and open-source software Audacity — for the millionth time in a row? Can you tell I've animated in Adobe Animate and was entirely surprised to see it was functionally identical to Macromedia Flash 8 from 2005, crashes and all? Can you tell that if my job involved opening Adobe Illustrator, I would find a new line of work, a therapist, or an afterlife? Can you tell I will literally use anything except Premiere? Can you tell this part of the Monthly Post Archive was written on November 27th, the day of the the post, while I waited for Adobe Audition to go back to functioning? I'll fucking kill I swear to fuck.
(jesus fucking christ??????)
And here's the final post of the month: the release of an update to Traversal's demo (and probably the last update to Traversal of 2025). If you've never played it, now's a good time to try it out! If you have, there's not enough new stuff here to justify replaying the demo. The main notable differences in this build are all dialogue. I threw in a bunch of new epilogical dialogue because GalaxyIsAway, when replaying the demo in a call with me, lamented that it would've been cool if Joshua had more end-of-island dialogue. Also, I replaced dialogue that was a reference to another game ("Boof... Boof...") that I forgot was still in the game with some original dialogue ("Slurp... Slurp...") that I think works better. Replacing stupid dialogue with more stupid dialogue isn't super hard anyway. Snippets of both are in the promotional image attached to the embedded post, so if you were curious what that looked like, I hope that works.
And that's November! I'll see you next month when I have my gingerbread-styled profile picture.
